By 125th Anniversary Committee
June 10, 2017

Under a bright Sun and with hundreds in attendance, the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department celebrated our 125th Anniversary on Saturday, June 10th with a parade down the streets of the community we proudly serve.

Leading the parade were some of the department's senior-most men, including 73 Year Members Donald "Tex' Fagan and John Giglio of Washington Engine Company No. 2, Ex-Chief Anthony Gagliotti, a nearly 67 Year Member of Columbian Hook & Ladder Company No. 1 and 62 Year Member Harold Waters from Washington Engine Company No. 2. The man with the most time in the CFD - an astonishing 76 years of service - Joseph Fiorentino of Chemical Enigne Company No. 1, served as our Grand Marshall.

Chief Matt Mansfield, as well as Assistant Chiefs Chris Colombo and Chris Pesavento, led about 75 of Croton's Bravest in a parade attended by over two dozen fire, EMS and musical units. Fire Departments from Westchester, Putnam, Rockland and Dutchess Counties joined us as we proudly made our way from Veterans Corners on to Veterans Plaza, ending at the Croton-Harmon Train Station.

In addition to our Anniversary Committee and all of the CFD members that made this wonderful day a reality, the CFD would also like to thank the following for their part in making this one of the best memories in our department's 125+ year history;
